Ms. Voss' Art Classes                

We have lots of fun in Art!  All classes are studying the principles and elements of design.  We study a different artist each week.  Along with our art curriculum, we also include information from other core subjects as well.

Fifth grade classes include cultural geography.  We are traveling the world through Art.  Fourth graders are traveling in a time machine starting at 10,000 B.C.  We will end in the present day.  Second and third grade classes classes have added math and problem solving skills to their daily schedule.  Kindergarten and First grade students have studied one masterpiece artist each week.  Now we are adding Science to our lessons.  ECE art includes Mother Goose nursery rhymes.

Favorite Project - Christmas in Roseland Christmas Card  - this involved painting a Christmas card on a 4 x 8 piece of plywood.  The students loved to see the process unfold.
